The term has to do with making barrels and is much less common than it used to be. I did a little research and wine or whiskey barrels seems to be the biggest remaining market. That makes sense since so much of the process depends on aging in wood barrels.
Upon further reflection this domain will make an excellent platform for selling direct advertising to specialty winerys and brewers. The barrels these products are aged in is critical to their final quality. This has been know for years so there will be old reference materials about the process and how it developed. Someone who is passionate about the subject will be able to write lots of interesting pages about the process, modern methods and changes etc.
The result should be a site which will be attractive to small winerys and brewers looking for ways to advertise to people who appreciate the quality they represent.
