Vintage Glass Sellers Need New Marketing Methods

We have enjoyed fine glassware for a long time. My mother liked it and my uncle had an antiques shop that specialized in it. When we found Ebay in 1998 our collecting really took off. Now we are at the point where the house and garage are stuffed and we need to do something about it.

Like many others, the original idea was to enjoy collecting but then profit from reselling some or all of our glassware. However, buying is always so much more fun than selling!! If you have tried selling on Ebay you realize it takes time and effort to write good descriptions, take good pictures, and handle the packing, shipping and emails in a professional way.

Lately Ebay has become much less friendly to collectibles sellers. From where I sit it looks like these sellers will gradually be forced to find other venues from which to sell their products. This will be difficult, but already other sales sites are growing.

Bringing traffic to non-Ebay sales sites is going to require effective advertising. We are building a large network of collectibles websites that are well ranked in the search engines and which attract collectors. Direct ads on these sites with links to your sales will be a cost effective way to maintain your sales volume in these challenging times.

Read through the descriptions of the domains listed below, visit the sites, and do Google searches to see how well they rank for key terms. When you are convinced that an ad for your business, with a link to a targeted landing page on your site, would bring you traffic, visit our direct ads page for details.
